do i need springs with 1.6 rr's

like the subject says, will i be ok using my stock springs with 85,000 miles with roller rockers?

You can, but you shouldnt. Pick up a cheap set of LT4 single springs. They work will the rest of the stock hardware

ok, thats all i need to know, ill probably just think ahead and get some that are good for when i do a cam.

My friend decided to skip the springs and run 1.6 RR's (stock cam). About 20K miles later had a loud ticking; broke the end off 2 push rods (the ball tip) and we could only find one of the *****!
