what else besides my cam would i need for the hot cam to work? i heard you need a timing chain to work is that true? and can someone give me a link where to buy the parts i need?

ull need the lt4 springs/seats(go with 1.6rrs) and a complete gasket kit for changing teh cam , the timeing chain i not a must but is recomended to be changed for a stronger one since sometimes the stockers will go

just look around in the classified or ask , i bet ull find some stuff cheap

just buy a new stock replacement one. That will be plenty enough for your application.
