Re: Don't believe in factory freaks?

Wow, that's incredible for a CAI & cat-back only automatic LT1 with that mileage! Your first time with it ever at the track or has it run similar ET's/MPH in the 1/4 before?

And is that still the original transmission with the stock torque converter? Ever rebuilt? Just curious...

Only hoping mine runs high 13's @ 100 come next spring with the mods in my sig...

Re: Don't believe in factory freaks?

Weather was in the 60's ...

Not my first time at the track.. been a few times before.. ran a few 13.4's and this was the one time it really hooked.. Tranny is the origional one, which scares me.. I just changed the fluid and filter yesterday prepairing for the track and it looked like the fluid had never been changed.

Re: Don't believe in factory freaks?

I know of an LT1 Z28 running 12.9 @ 107 with a 1.86 60' and a D.A. of 3000'+.

It's a 6 spd with ~130k miles and full bolt-ons (including roller rockers) and aggressive tuning. ~3150 lbs. with ZR1s and Nittos.

Ok... that sucks.. You prob got that time mis-quoted cuz that ain't shat for full bolt ons.. headers.. and roller rockers also being tuned.

what's a d.a. of 3000 mean?

~500 pounds of weight reduction certainly helps.
