Down and out z

as some of you may know my car would not start i did a test for pulse from the opti and it failed...
well today i put another opti on and the car fired up... ran great for a few minutes and then it started to backfire something fierce and running rich as hell...
i turned and off and checked that everything was connected. then i decided to pull a sparkplug and it was totaly black... ended up 7 out of 8 wer black...
i cleaned then and put them back in and attempted to start the car...
took a few cranks and then started and started to backfire again to so in my frustration i started to rev the engine only to notice that that when i reved it the tachometer would start to drop and not maintain the correct rpm's...

can someone please help me? i am at my ends wit...

ok thanks i am willing to try it...

so i go do an resistance test on it first...

well me ohm reader is beeping (meaning there is continuity) but the reading is .4-.5 ohms...
does that sound like it needs replaced?

thanks

edit: retest i have 5.84 ohms to each connector from coil wire connector...
my guess is that the coil is good...

Do you have a scanner to put on it . sounds like you need to see inside the computer to see whats going on .
