driving w/ front 02's unplugged?

i have a 97 trans am w/ hooker headers m6..i have my rear 02's deleted..im having a problem w/ a code of MAF circuit malfunction and Reverse sillinoid..you've probably seen my other threads..my question is will driving w/ my front 02's unplugged hurt my engine in ne way? if asked someone and they said it will destroy my motor and fry my rings..is it a bad idea? thanks

that's like trying to run a marathon with an epideral...the front o2s are VITAL to the fuction of the FI system.

will i fry rings and stuff? i just wanna see if the fuse will still blow bc i heard that could be my problem w/ the codes getting set off?

I would think that if you unplug the front o2 sensors, the car would just run in open loop mode all the time. I haven't heard of it causing any damage before.

it should run ok. Shouldnt hurt anything except your wallet. You will get about 8 mpg. IF you just unplugging them to drive to a repair shop or something thats fine. get it fixed asap though.
