DTC MAF Question

Ok, I'm still working on this but thinking maybe a guru will be able to give me a quick answer.

'95 Z28 OBD1 car

I'm getting a DTC 23 error code or as Datamaster puts it MALF 23: MAT Low.

I'll be checking wiring etc. but wondered if anyone's run across this.

For the record I've searched and not found this specific code. Also this is on a car with air pump and EGR removed.

Descreened the MAF years ago but problem is new.

'ppreciate the help offered

They call MAT as Manifold Absolute [or Air] Temperature. It translates to IAT as we know it.

DTC 23 = Intake Air Temperature (IAT) sensor circuit (signal voltage high, low temperature indicated)

Next time you need a code for an LT1, click on the "Diagnostic Trouble Code" link in Shoebox's signature.
