Dual Cat setup on '94 z28 better than one cat?
Did a search but couldn't find any significant info for my specific question.
Is it correct to assume that a dual cat setup (1 on each side of the y pipe) would flow more than 1 cat after the y pipe?
Sould I just find a "friendly" smog shop and forgoe the hassle???
My exhaust is pretty loud as is, im happy with the flow without the cat, when It was removed I noticed a difference immediately.
Just looking for some ideas.
IS there an aftermarket Y pipe that fits my headers??

It doesn't necessarily flow more... the stock 96-97 dual cat setup is junk IMO...the pipe necks down to 2" going into and out of each cat.
I wouldn't waste my time...get a smog friendly aftermarket setup and you'll be much happier. A good high flow single cat in the stock location would work better than the OEM dual cat setup IMO.

I definitely was not lookin for an OEM setup... thats for sure.
My car came stock with just 1 cat, I was thinkin of getting an aftermarket system that would mate up to my Edelbrock TES headers...
Anyone know of a good combo??
