Listen man, I don't need your mombo jumbo, I bought those plates from the dude on here and i'd recommend them to everyone.
I know they can be made but the fact is he made nice ones, thick, and well cut for a cheap cheap price.

yo niterider which ones do you check on the order form??i have no clue how many plates i need and theres 3 things to chose from:2 plates(intake manifold kit)2 plates(egr tube kit)and 3 plates(intake and header kit).mite be a stupid question but help is appreciated.

there's 2 holes on the back of the intake manifold, 1 for the egr valve, and 1 for the tube that goes to the header. If your header has a EGR fitting, you will need all 3 peices if you plan on removing the egr valve. If the header does not have EGR fitting, you only need the 2 for the intake.

Does the manifold plate seal well to a mac header? I can't believe GM would make this connection only one bolt. I should have just had the mac side welded shut... I can't get it to stop leaking!!!

I have read that the pipe fitting (the one that goes from the manifold to the exhaust manifold) IS blocked off once you block off the EGR valve hole it feeds the EGR so once blocked off it is basically blocked off too.
Is this true? I need this settled once and for all.
