Dying after acceleration...

Here's the problem: The car runs great and accelerates perfect after the "new motor". The problem now is sometimes after accelerating, and letting off the throttle completely the rpm's will drop dangerously low and sound like it's not going to recover. Yesterday it finally did not recover and went completley dead. I know I need to raise the idle up and I'm sure it needs more fuel. The motor has been bored with 227/233 cam and LE heads.

Re: Dying after acceleration...

Was it tuned at all after being bored?

If the computer doesn't know the correct displacement, that can cause problems.

Re: Dying after acceleration...

Yeah Ion did my programming. If I can't find the problem I will have to call him. I also was wondering if anyone knew the size star head is on the throttle screw.
