Re: Dyno numbers for bolt on only 95 Z28

Yeah I had RR's.

My mods were....
Edelbrock 1 5/8 headers,
K&N FIPK
1.6RR's
!cats
Whisper MAF
msd6al
52mmtb
ASP pulley
SLP 2 on da left

Drivetrain mods: Moser 9" with 3.90 gears, LCA's,PHR, BMR Trac pac

Car was a heavy pig at 3715 lbs. Unfortunately I never had a chance to bolt the Hooker LT's on, 58mm TB, and do LT1 edit tuning before a bearing let go. I was confident the car would have turned some high 11's@112-113.

Re: Dyno numbers for bolt on only 95 Z28

doesn't aftermarket roller rockers justify the "stock internal" statings????

stock internal is just that.....the way it came from the factory from intake to oil pan, could be wrong though.

This is very subjective. Some people consider RRs bolt-ons, others don't. I consider internals to be parts "inside" the block...ie, rods, pistons, crank, etc. I don't consider RRs an internal modification, just as I wouldn't consider a timing chain to be 'internal'.

I think it basically comes down to, those who have gone quick without rockers don't consider RRs to be bolt-ons...those who have gone quick with RRs do consider them bolt-ons.

No tune necessary with a 1.6RR swap. Get a LT4KM just to be safe and matching springs!

kinda makes me curious to see what i could run. Just dynoed my car and got 288.4/324.6 ... wonder what a slight tune would do for me...

95z6spd - Pretty good numbers, there. Seems like our cars are really close.

I put down 291 & 338 SAE. No rockers here either, but that will change one of these days.

Too bad we can't get any good air around here. The DA is usually 5000+
