i dynoed 256hp/295torque with just SLP CAI and catback......since then i have put a 160 in with dual fan switches...mac mid headers and 2.5" high flow y pipe and a tranny cooler..all the free mods (TB bypass/descreened MAF etc..) and turned up the pressure a little in the 60E..i think i'll be around 300 now..what do u guys think?

I totally did not expect it to be as strong as it was stock, I figured it would've been 240, even with the catback. Although it had an air leak at the intake elbow which caused it to run lean (14:1) so that's why my car has always run such strong quarter mile times for stock. It's going to run even stronger now though!

Looks like we have very similar setups, but I'm a M6. If I were you, I wouldn't look to make much more rwhp than what's in my sig, especially considering you are an A4. BTW, I also have the TB Bypass and Descreened MAF.

Most guys try to stay around 13:1
Remember, it's the AIR:FUEL ratio.

i thought the Stoicheometric Air: Fuel ratio was 14.7:1? If he's running 14:1, less air per fuel, so it's rich right? I could be wrong tho. I'm only a newbie. Anyway, I hope ya get everything straightened up Pasky. Can't wait to see that thing, if we can ever get a Texas area thirdgen meet!

I think the stoicheometric a/f is only used at idle and partial throttle.

Man..... Its lean! 14.7 is perfect A/F ratio for BURNING not power, you won't make any power at 14.7:1 A/F & you will prolly lean out & blow something up, good A/F at WOT is around 12.5-13.1 depending on mods & cam etc.... That also varies, try keeping her richer in the peak TQ band & lean out at top end, no more then 13.1 though, well sometimes you might make more power going leaner but thats ussually not the case or just not worth it.
