If I can find my original dyno sheet I will post it. I did forget that when I bought my car it had a K&N CAI. So I unitentionally lied. sorry. But I did dyno nice. One of buddies dynoed 294rwtq with just a exhaust. So I dont know what to tell you.

Most stock dyno like 240 with A4 for hp. But for the most part UCRAZYMONKEY is right on. I normally trust his advice and what not but I dynoed better in torque then most I guess.

as i posted

as i posted a little earlier, my old 96 M6 LT1 did 266 RWHP and 300 TQ at the rear wheels with Moroso CAI and SLP 2OTHL Catback only. The car was a solid 9.0 1/8th mile car. Thats right on for an LT1

The A4's do dyno lower as you say around 240 and the M6's go right around 250.

What gets misleading is when you start adding a higher stall into the mix. Take mine for an example. It says on the dyno that I sun 290 RWHP. Now I run a 10" TCI 2800-3000 converter. If I was to put the stock one back in I would most likley see a 15-25 RWHP increase. Now that does not nessasarily mean that Im losing that HP but it may to the Dyno.

Best way to tell is to get it on the track. I lost 100 pounds race weight for the Shoot-out back on April 6th, which should be good for a .10 in the 1/4 mile. I gained 15 RWHP and 17 RWTQ should be good for another .10. Instead of running around a 12.7 with bolt-ons now I have to figure out which of the last bolt-on mods ran me higher than the previous weeks. Was running 13.12-13.25 all day. Damn Texas weather is so hot I wont be able to get a nice run til the fall. Anywho that will be right in time for the Thunder Racing Shoot-out in November. And by then it wont be a few tenths Im trying to find

Add another weak LT1 here. My torque went from 282 rwtq to around 310 rwtq at most after headers, mild heads and the powermax 2033 cam. However, the RWHP went up from 260 to 302 rwhp.

With those 302 rwhp I ran a best of 13.019 at 104.9 w 2.0 60 ft at the "slow" track down here. Generally the other one is .2-.3 and 1-2 mph quicker. I opened up the cutout and ran 12.99 at 106.9.

My A4 is having trouble, 3000 rpm lag between shifts.. sucks.. and it's not even the transmission, we believe its a programming issue brought opn after putting in a reprogramed pcm set for '"soft shifts"...

I don't understand how some people get such high torque numbers...

Well at least you hit 12's... I dynoed 270rwhp and 352RWTQ with Jet Hot Coated Hooker shorties, 3inch y-pipe, 3 inch Hiflo cat, 3inch american thunder exhaust, cutout, Transgo shift kit (3washers), and a midwest 3200 stall with a 2.1 stator. My hp looks a tad low probably dur to the converter but my torque is fatty.

At the track I only got two horrrible wheel spinning runs... the best was a 14.2@101 mph!!!!!! Slower than stock.

I was hoping for low 13's. I need tire because on that run I tried babying it out of the whole and it shifted hard enough into second to break loose the tires on Sacramento bad left lane. So I had to left off and hook up then go. I figure 101 trap is about right with me getting off the gas and then back on but I have plenty of room for improvement with my BEUATIFUL 2.40 60 ft time.

If a tenth of the 60 is a tenth or a little more up top I think I have my low 13.

We will see

Shawn
