They're fine springs, just not good to what they advertise them to IMO, I didnt have any luck with them, but others have.

Re: Dyno Results from CMS package...

I haven't had any problems with those springs yet ( knock on wood) Have done a few runs to 6500 on the street and did 6 on the dyno. No problems yet.

Great Q, but all I can say is that being there in the car, you can tell its the converter locking. It locks, then the power goes up... Just me seeing that? And on the tach you can see it happens at 5900, but the RPM on the graphs is about 200 high...

It might be floating, but if it starts floating at 5900, then wouldn't it keep floating?

It could be a tune issue there. We didn't run the wideband b/c we couldn't log or tune anyways...

Considering it's with stock heads.... I'm suprised it holds the power up top as well as it is.

You can all certainly dish it, let's see if you can take it-- all in good fun of course.

Quote Motor Trend. 1997 LT1 z28 6 speed, 0-60mph 5.8 seconds. 1998 LS1 z28 6-speed, 0-60mph 5.2 seconds. Yup, you've certainly got us beat on the low end. Damn why did I sell my '95 z28! I had all that incredible power and didn't even know it.

I wasn't trying to start a flame war, or "toot anyone's horn," but it looks like certain individuals are itching for one.
Sorry to call myself a fellow St. Louisan with you, man. What's with the attitude. You start off by posting in a section in which you don't belong. Then you one-up yourself by posting a very negative comment. Then you continue to bash and follow that by a "let's be friends" comment?!

Here's a link for ya:

I especially enjoy the 0-60 time on the 1996 SS.

Gabe,

Awesome gains man! I will keep a close eye on your progress as I plan on (someday) doing some similar modding. Keep us posted!

Thanx. I'm planning on getting some GTP Stage 2 heads that have been done over by LE. A member in our car club is going to some APR's. So around spring I should have some new #'s. As for the track I can't wait til the nearest 1/4 opens up, hoping for some 12.7's or better with some et streets.
