To bad you aren't closer to me. I dyno less than you and run higher MPH. Good thing you chose that max effort solid roller setup that "would run like Rick Abare's car if we (LE/BRE) went all out like him."
Good call out though!

Really Rick has a 383, killer suspension(1.2x 60's) v/s my 1.48 60' and my car still cruises every week on the street so ask him how often he drives his. I wish you were closer too. No max effort here, if I wanted that i would have gone with an aftermarket PCM, like Rick, 14.1 compression, much bigger cam and lower gears also so until you run a number, don't talk smack buddy.

Although I am surprised to read some of the responses in this thread, I don't think you should be entirely disappointed.
Here are a few suggestions for you:
*I* would go with 1.6 rockers with this setup. Is there a particular reason as to why you didn't go with them in the first place (considering where your head flow peaks)?
The flowmaster exhausts, although do sound very nice, are typically power robbers as you've already discovered yourself. Surprisingly, your car may actually make MORE power with a well-flowing exhaust system than with an open cutout. I've had good luck with Magnaflow exhausts, but most of the quality-built (read more expensive) exhausts on the market will also do a good job. If you want to save some money, you can just replace the muffler with a Borla muffler, or another good muffler of your choice.
Although it should not be an issue on your setup, next time when you're on the dyno, swap in a stock throttle body and see how that affects your numbers. Some cars actually lose power and torque with a larger throttle body.
Finally, you have quite a loose torque converter, which may reduce your numbers on a dyno. Just for kicks, take the car to a track and see what it does (you can use this opportunity for testing a stock throttle body on it as well).
Oh, and one more thing: I think you are getting some knock retard judging by the zigzagging in the graph. This is likely false knock since the tune has the correct amount of timing for your setup and the air/fuel ratio is fine. Getting rid of this knock retard will give you smoother curves and may add another 5-10 horsepower.
Hope that helps.

The original reason for going with the 1.52's over 1.6's was because I wanted to be sure there would be enough piston to valve clearance. Whenever I have the extra cash I will throw on some 1.6's since there is more then enough clearance. For the false knock... I wouldn't know what to do there since the car already has a LT4 KM.

How about his car runs 11.6:1 compressions, 4:30 gears, 1.3 60s, went 10.04 on the stock PCM. I don't need to find the posts that had all the pre run claims about your car, because you know what they were.
And talking smack is part of the game. I respect you and your car. You get out there and run it and modify it and you seem like a good guy in my book. But none of that makes your car anything to write home about.
You have the closest setup of anyone on the board to mine (with yours going a bit further in a few areas. Mine hasn't ET'd faster than yours on motor (it has gone faster on the bottle), but I haven't hooked my car up yet. 98+ mph speaks volumes about where my car will go. I still have 150lbs of easy weight reduction (but expensive) to get to your cars weight.
I only talk smack where I think it is warranted.

You ran faster than 9.80? Thats great. My car ran 11.00 on it's very first outing with a bunch of changes to the car and only being able to shift at 6,400 so we will see what it will do shifting at 6800. I found a few problems with my setup that are now fixed so after I make a few more motor passes, I am dropping down to 3.73 gears and spraying 250HP n2o to see how deep into the 9's I can run.
I hope the new changes work out well for you. Fixing the small problems always yeilds the best gains. Did the car slow down NA by stepping down the gears?
Good luck in the 9s. I've got my drive gear replaced and hope to be back at the track this week. I've stepped up to an FJO controller to handle both stages and fixed all the wiring and fueling issues.

I haven't swapped to 3.73's yet but I have them sitting in my garage and don't plan on swapping to 3.73 until I get into the 10's on motor. My car has never run close to 123mph on motor with my old setup running great so how could the car slow down with n2o? I am willing to bet the car will run at least 9.80's on the 150shot as it sits. I sprayed the car on the street a couple weeks ago and it's a beast, never ran that hard before but we will find out very soon. Later

i def, say give it a shot, a couple guys have claimed as much as 50 horses simply by putting on some street tires, wont know for sure until you try, but you gotta think seeing as the MTs are very sticky, they are harder to spin the drums, so in theory they wont spin it as hard as a standard street radial.
