Eagle rod bolts

These Eagle rod bolts also say ARP on them. Are they ARP bolts with just Eagle's name on them, also, or what? I, for the life of me, can NOT figure out what the hell to torque these things too! mad:

Eagle ARP 1.5 8740 is what's wrote on the head. 3/8 capscrew.

Thanks for any help!

So, if my threads measure 3/8", then I have a 3/8"? And if so, what is the torque on them?

They don't only fit H-beams, as stated above. Mine are I-beams and they have them.

The stretch is .0063.
The torque with ARP lube is 50#

Good luck with it.

Using the two exaples you listed above, stating "200,000 psi", page 24 of the catalog you posted says 44/ft.lbs with ARP lube and 57/ft.lbs with 30 weight oil for a 3/8-24 fastener.

Gen III/LS Series small block (except LS7)

Go to page 30 and find your bolts:
134-6003
134-6005
134-6027
Possibilities I picked.

Then go to page 25 for torque.
