Angry Egr

Ok, so maybe im an idiot but i can't get this damn thing off to save my life. Anyone have any advise, tips, hints, tools to use, ANYTHING to help. I have got the nut toward the driverside off(the easy one) but the one on the otherside is agrovating(sp?). Anyway, if anyone could give some pointers that would be awesome.

Are you saying you can't reach the 2nd nut, or that you can reach it, but it won't turn? Its possible to reach it with a bit of effort, and its not in an area that is prone to rust.

Here's a good phot from Shoebox's site that may help you "see" what you're doing http://shbox.com/1/egr1.jpg

I usually lay on top of the engine to reach around the back side of the intake manifold.

As stated above; "swivel head gear wrench " or I just use a gear wrench... Took alittle time, but achievable.....
