EGR Removal? 95 Lt1 156k

Ok so Im in the process of doing a head job. I just finished pulling off the driver side and after work tomorrow Im doing the other side. Iv heard of people taking off EGR parts then blocking them off..AIR pump, EGR valve ect.. Im just wondering what I should and can get rid of to save some time, weight and lose some cluster. Thanks in advance

What exactly are you trying to remove - EGR, AIR, both? The EGR and AIR systems are totally separate.
