Question EGR SES code

Hey all,
I disconnected all the vacuum lines to my EGR valve (engine cold) and it's still setting a p0400 code (EGR flow malfunction). If i unplug the solenoid will it quit setting that code? If not is there anything else i can do? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

The only way you can get rid of EGR codes for OBD-II is to program out the monitoring function. Plug your vacuum back up. The EGR does not hurt anything.
