mdacton you do have a point. It's possible I may just concentrate N/A for awhile. I mean if it takes me 3 ****ing years to build, get tuned and race an engine...

is the announcer related to you?

Thanks again all. Lots of work needs to be done and I'm sure like everything else I'm going to take my sweet time doing so. It's taken me this long to do something like this when all my friends did it YEARS ago, sold their **** and have moved on.

What can I say... I'm a popular feller around these parts. Actually it was a local f-body/mustang shootout that a local f-body board has twice a year. They rent the track and do their own announcing.

Chucklet- you were missed.

Nice job Rump Ranger! Good MPH. Yeah 4th gear was kind of funny. It should be sweet when you finish dialing it in!

As usual, your 60fts are atrocious! Congratulations, it's about damn time. Great MPH... That solid roller sounds killer.

Nice run with good mph...I'd look into the 28" tire route though with whatever gear gets u across at 6900 or whatever your rpm goal is...I know I'm an A4 but when I switched to 4.10s and the 28"s the car dropped 60' dramatically and very consistently...I would think that 4.56s and 28s would be a good combo...

Thanks copper.
I've pretty much decided on a 15X10 w/ a 28X10.5" slick and a 4.88 gear.
That should put me pretty close to the power peak. Not absolutely sure since I'm not taking tire growth into consideration.

That 4.88 gear won't be very streetable but may run quick. I remember quite a few years back when I ran 11.66@117mph, with the LE1 heads/cam, 355" shortblock 11.1 compression, 3.42's out back in the stock 10bolt with a 3200 converter and drove the car everywhere. Good luck.
