Just wondering if any of you guys have ever encountered a CSR pump leaking from the mating suface. If it continues I may just use some gasket paper and eliminate the o-ring altogether

 

If it's leaking the O ring probably came off track, the housing that the pump slides into may be nicked and allowing coolant to seap through. I always use a nice layer of RTV around where the o-ring goes. unless your o-ring is faulty, you really shouldn't be having those problems at all.

 

I used rtv for extra insurance

 

Yeah I guess I put too much trust in a tiny o-ring and an imperfect aluminum housing.
