Eliminating EGR and AIR

If I install TPIS Long Tube Headers, I will have to eliminate the EGR valve system and the AIR injection system. What do I need to do this? Do I need a tune? Just looking for some simple instructions

I just did the same thing 2 weeks ago. I sent my computer to pcmforless and I don't have any problems. Just block off the back of the intake and get you computer programed and you all set. You can make your own block off plates its easy.

And just remove the AIR pump and all its hoses? Or do I need programming for that too?

1996 was OBD2. You'll need reprogramming to remove the airpump.

in OBD1 cars you can remove it as long as you leave the fuse in place.

So with the OBD I, I can lose the AIR without programming, what about EGR? Need programming then?

Does anything else need to be removed in order to get to the AIr stuff to remove it or can you easily get the ratchet etc in there?
