Well it didn't look that rough from the factory.

Get it sandblasted.

Pulling it from the top is just a waste of time, yes it can be done, but from a very good mechanic it took him 6 hours start to finish out the top, with air tools, It took a friend (who is a student mechanic) it was 2 1/2 hours out the bottom using hand tools. I won't waste my time going out the top.

aswell as springs, and waterpump sprockets/water pump gear etc. Also got timing chain.
My block has been at a performance shop getting splayed 4bolts for 3 weeks or more, so that should be done extremely soon, if its not done now.

Just a little update, spoke to the engine builder yesterday, he said the shop who is doing the line bore (align?) and splayed caps, lost a few workers so thats why that is taking FOREVER. Im still waiting on Cam and ARP studs, but everything else is here, and waiting on the machine shop.

Plan is 383, je nitrous piston, compstar 6" rod, 3.75 compstar crank, lunati 60122 cam, stock heads for now. 12:1 compression, 300shot nitrous. (in the end 300shot not with stock heads)
