Evap

hi guys,

here is a picture of the EVAP solenoid on my 97 Camaro LT1,
nothing is connected to it except power... i also got code P1441 on...

my question is.. would i be getting engine related problems because its not connected to Throttle body nor the canister ??

also, there is an electrical connector behind it which isnt connected to anything... any can tell me whats it for>?

This is what you should have:



The unconnected plug is probably for the vacuum switch. If the TB port was uncapped, that would be a vacuum leak. You might also get some gas smell, depending on what happened to the hose going to the canister.
