EVAP system flow during non-purge?

What does this mean? It kicked up this fault code on me this morning on my way home from work.
It just got heads/cam swap last week so I have been really watching what codes it throws and what they mean.

It's asked a lot, so there should be some info out there, but it means that the round vacuum switch that is just ahead of the EVAP solenoid is sending a signal the to the PCM that it is seeing vacuum when the solenoid is closed and not sending any. It could mean that you have the vacuum lines to the solenoid hooked up backwards or the solenoid or switch is bad. Check your vacuum hose routing diagram that is on the radiator cover.

would this cause any performance problems or just a little rough idle and stumbling? in other words would my WOT perfomance be bad if this is a persistant problem?

if your thinking of leaving it, then you'd be better of removing the vac. supply to the evap purge solenoid. Id say either the vac. lines are crossed, or your purge solenoid is stuck open. another poss. is the vent valve is stuck applied (closed, holding in the vacuum). if you leave it, and there is always a vacuum being applied to the fuel tank, the evap cannister will eventually get full of fuel, and then the evap purge valve on top of the intake will suck raw fuel into the mann. through it. then it will run bad (rich). just do like I did and delete the evap all together. tune it out also.
