Exhaust Pipe Size

The flange on the leftside downpipe on my 96 Z has rusted-out and it needs a repair kit. Can anyone tell me what size the pipe is where it meets the other flange? I think it's 2.5", but not sure.

Thanks!

Re: Exhaust Pipe Size

Are you asking about the flange in the diagram that is held together by bolt labeled #9?

Re: Exhaust Pipe Size

The Y-pipe configuration is different between a single-cat 95 and a dual cat 96, so the diameter may not be the same.

Re: Exhaust Pipe Size

Thanks everyone for the help! I really appreciate the efforts.

For some reason I was thinking it was something like 2 3/4". No one makes a repair split flange that size.

the pipe flares out roughly to that dimension on one end(ball and socket fit) but the pipe itself is 2"
