Question Experienced cam guys inside....

Ive been looking at the Comp XE 230/236 .112 lsa. Only thing is, its going in a 355 with stock LT1 heads (heads were machined .010 due to warping). After reading what comp cams says about it, it would seem that the 224/230 would be better for my engine since the heads are stock. Need some input here. Thanks in advance.

Well if you plan on porting your heads or buying any in the futher then buy that cam but if you plan on staying with stock heads then there are a few cam that work great with stock heads.xe218/224 or the crane 210/230.Do a search there is alot of information on this that will help you decide on a cam that suits your goals.

If you can live with 360 rwhp get the xe 224/230. A buddy of mine has it on a 355 stock heads and long tubes. Thats what he dynoed. Very impressive and very streetable.
