Fan switch Question

I just installed my manual fan switch as well as doing the !CAGS thru the PCM wires. Well when I turn the key to ON and flip the fan switch to high, both LEDS turn on, and the high speed fans turn on. When I turn the switch to low, the 1 LED turns on, but the fan does not turn on. Has this happened to anyone using the switch? How do I fix it?

Re: Fan switch Question

Did you visually verify what fans were running?

Was this a home-made switch? Basically you wire it like it is supposed to be wired and it works. Sounds like your ground is not getting to the relay wire when you have it in low speed.

Re: Fan switch Question

Nope, not homemade. It is the switch that Speed Specialty sells. I got it in the last GP. I'll check the fan visually to see if its on, I was listening for it before.

Edit: I just checked my low speed fan and it was not on with the switch. Could I have a blown fan fuse I mean, my high speed fans work by the switch, but no low speed. I know it's not a big deal, but I'd still like it to work

Re: Fan switch Question

Either the switch is not putting out a ground to the green relay wire or it is and you are not connected well to the green relay wire.
