Fan Switch Question
I bought a Jet Fan switch to turn my fans on at a lower temperature. The location that is specified for the sensor is in the passenger side head and there is also a supplied jumper harness that attaches to the sensor.
The location in the head is in an awkward place and the plug that needs to be removed in the head looks like it is smaller than the sensor. I was wondering if I could just remove the current sensor in the waterpump, which is more accessible, replace it with the Jet sensor and dispense with the jumper harness?

No, that's the sensor the PCM uses in a number of calculations. It's also the same size as the port in the head ... 3/8 NPT. I think the square plug tool you need for the plug in the head is 8mm.
