I have a 95 z28 lt1 auto with mods in sig. Here is my problem for the most part when i start my car i have to hold down the key for like 5 seconds then i let go and turn again for 3 probally and then it starts fine. and then the fans turn on and my ses light is on. So i took it to the shop hooked the computer up said it was the egr valve. so i cleaned it up put it back on same probally so i went and bought a new one... put it on same problem.. so now iam here lost and confused..

the stating problem seems like you are loseing fuel presure as the car sits, bad check valve in the fuel pump. test this buy putting a test gauge on it and presurise the system and see if the presure drops pretty quickly

What was the exact code you got for the EGR system? There's one for system flow, and another for the EGR vacuum solenoid. Did replacing the EGR valve turn the SES light and the fans off?
