Actually, Brian (PROJECTZ28) is a friend of mine. His 11.91 was the reason I bought my CC305. To all of your dismay, he went 11.91 on a completely stock suspension! ET Streets mounted on stock "Salad Shooters". I was there the day he did it. I believe the run directly previous to that was also a high 11.9, so it wasn't a fluke.
His car is also "full weight". Still has A/C, power everything, and t-tops.

Mine drives like it's got a stock cam in it. As a side note, I got 18 MPG before I put the non lock-up converter in it. 12.38 and 18 MPG isn't too bad, is it?

Hey Frank, you were close. I did have some suspension mods at the time... the front sway bar was off the car

11.91 was the fastest and I backed it up with an 11.97, 11.95 that day. It also went 11.9x on several other ocasions at other tracks on different days so it was no fluke. The car is (was) full weight with the exception of only 4-5 gallons of fuel, no spare or jack and the washer fluid empty. My 60' was 1.59-1.61.

The car is basically a bolt on car with the exception of the cam, and rockers. 3.73's, 26x10.5 et streets, yank ST3500 converter, EWP, LT's, CAI... most of the usual little things too. Bone stock heads and suspension. Good tracks here in NJ help too

I blew the rear that summer and changed the gear and tire combo which killed the car. With the 4.10's in the car now I could only best a 12.1x with the 60' and mph taking a turn for the worse. I'm currently in the process of putting together a new package and hope to improve the time this spring

This seems to be a fairly popular cam, I always hear people referring to this as a small cam and was actually expecting the duration to be smaller. But for my main question...

Is this an emissions friendly cam? I previously read in a recent post that it is nearly impossible to pass with a stock tune, but is the tune the only obstacle?

I ran up at Brainerd Int'l Raceway last summer but the timing equipment wasn't hooked up because my club rented out the track for road racing but we had a little drag racing session. That was the only time I have run with drag radials and I hooked like a **** and was able to beat a couple high 12 second SS's.
My guess would be I ran around a 12.9@106???
