hey dave, dont make the same mistake I did. put the A/C line on the back of the compresser before droping the car onto the engine. after I had it all bolted back in, and started hooking up the small stuff, I said doh! you might even have to take the compresser off the engine to do it now. looks real good though. exc. all those mustangs uglying up the pics lol

I can get a pic for you, but the measurement isn't really that important, I've got to lift it up higher with the cherry picker anyways...but I will get that measurement for you when we put it back in...

The AC line...that's in the car itself right? It's been way too long

Looks great I think I am a close second for the longest rebuild. I now have 320 miles on mine and counting. Winter is coming fast here so it probably will not be broke in until spring If you missed it when I posted them before you can check out my pics here:

Nice pics, Dave.

Oh, the engine and chassis look good, too.

Bet it's warmer there than in Wellsburg.

Good luck with the rest of the build-up.

Just out of curiousity but why do you still have the opti spark if you are going with a LTCC setup?

yeah, it goes forward and back to the accumulater. it'll come off both ends pretty easily. I can send ya a pic of mine coming out so you can see how it should go before droping the car down.

Re: Finally got some pics up of the 383 Stroker! Beautiful!

Man, i remember when i was finishign up my 355 this summer. Unfortunately i had to sell my trans am to afford finishing it up - then i was without a car and got a job offer, so i was suddenly in an incredible hurry to finish . So i dropped a beautiful engien and set of heads into a dirty engine compartment with an intake that wasn't polished like i wanted...and now all i can see when i pop my hood is a dirty intake and a bunch of plastic and old valve covers :-(

She looks awesome though man. Wish I'd had the time to do what you're doing...i REALLY wanted to clean up my engine compartment. If there was any justice in the world i would have left the engine out a few more weeks to clean it up. Oh well.

Thanks! Yeah it's not too bad here, supposed to get down to 36* tonight though!

It's not the LTCC, but Delteq. It still uses the Optispark, but only for reference of crank (cam? whatever) position for timing. That signal is sent to an ignition module that's sitting under the coil packs on the valve cover.

Thank you! What I did was glass bead it first, then I hit it up with a wire brush on a drill, really brought out the shine!

I got the bushings from Thunder Racing, Prothane brand. See if this link works:
http://www.thunderracing.com/catalog...&vid=4&pcid=92

47-19-409 Prothane Polyurethane Front Swaybar Endlink Kit , 93-02 F-body $13.99

47-7-1136 Prothane Polyurethane Front SwayBar Bushings, 30mm, 93-02 F-body $12.99

47-7-1604 Prothane Polyurethane Transmission Mount, 67-02 F-body $22.99

47-7-1609 Prothane Polyurethane Torque Arm Bushing, 82-02 F-body $14.99

47-7-227 Prothane Polyurethane Front Control Arm Bushings, 93-02 F-body $29.99

I got the motor mount from Auto Zone, Energy Suspension I think it was, for around $25 if I remember right.

Thanks for the comments guys!

Plug wires and some ghetto wire looms done. I'm going to order some real ones eventually, but these will do the trick for now. Man it looks like a lot of blue And no, the wires are not laying on the header, I'm not that stupid! It's just the angle of the dangle.
