Finally!! My Jet Hot LT's arrived ....Yeah !!!

I'm sure many of you remember the thread I started not to long ago asking whether or not LT's were worth the $$ over shorties. I got a lot of helpful responses and I'd just like to thank you guys again for your input. Anyways, I went ahead and ordered my Jet Hots and they arrived today at my work at exactly 9:35AM.

I took them out of the box and I was just blown away by the quality/looks of these headers. They look so good, I almost feel bad that you can't see more of them under the hood. Got them for $500 shipped to my door and they also came with gaskets and bolts.

As for my Edelbrocks, there still in mint condition so I'll probablly sell them when I swap them out for my new LT's.

I took a few pics and if you want, you can check them here: (PAGE 6)

JET HOT LT's

I ordered them WITH provisions for the emissions system so I shouldn't have any problem passing the smog test. I really hope they were worth it.

Thanks again to all those who took the time to answere my origional post. I really appreciated it.

Ps. I'd also like any suggestions you might give to me in regards to which y-pipe works best on this set-up for my '93 (I run a Borla cat-back) . Also, do you reccomend I upgrade the gaskets aswell ?
Any tip's as far as instalation ?? Thanks.

As far as the gaskets i would get better ones. And for the y pipe i would get a custom one made at a good muffler shop. Got mine done for 150 installed! pics in sig

You're going to have a hard time passing the emissions visual because that's going to move your cat from it's stock location.

What you also may run into is a situation where a muffler shop won't make a custom y-pipe for you because of the emissions non-compliance.

Unless of course, it's just a sniffer that's required in your state. In that case, happy motoring, enjoy the new found power!
