Method 2 requires you to do one at a time... Method 3 which is doing each valve one by one doesn't require TDC. Maybe I will have to do it that way. Am I missing something? Without finding TDC, you have to spin the crank until intake valve opens, lash exhaust valve, then spin the crank until exhaust is open and lash intake right?

Yes , Yes.....Thats the one I am talking about....you know your exactly where you need to be on each cam lobe. Just read the method carefully and apply .

Guess that's how I'll be doing it. Any tricks or is it as simple as I said? Wait until intake is fully open, lash exhaust, then turn crank until exhaust is fully open then lash intake? I remember reading something about having to turn the crank until the valve is almost closed so you make sure the other valve is on the base lobe of the cam? I'm new when it comes to this stuff, mind walking me through it for a couple valves just so I know for sure? I want to get it right the first time

From the artical I used.....worked the frist time and I havnt touched them since. Real simple.

"Pick a cylinder, any cylinder. Rotate the engine until the exhaust starts to open. Adjust the intake valve. Now rotate again until the intake valve just closes. Adjust the exhaust valve. Repeat for the other seven cylinders."

Incase you care to read the artical :

So you adjust the other valve when exhaust is just starting to open and when intake is just about to close? Sorry for all the dumb question. I got sick because I was in my garage for so long trying to get these rockers correctly.
