Fired up the BEAST tonight!!!

Finally, after waiting forever for my parts, I got my car running tonight. It fired right up and idled great. At least for awhile. I was adjusting my promags and then all the sudden it just died. It was like someone shut off the key. It will start right back up and run for several minutes and then just shut off again. I had to keep starting it to adjust my rockers a couple at a time till it would die again. I had a check engine light come on for a few seconds and the go off and it hasnt come on since. Can someone take a guess at why it is doing this? Thanks.

Im positive that isnt the problem. It runs flawlessly before it dies. No misses at all.

Mine did that exactly and it was the MAF. Watching in freescan you'd see it jump from 10 or 11 to 0 to 471 and then throw a code, sometimes it'd fix itself. I still haven't figure out if mine is because of a bad wire of bad MAF. Unplug the maf and see how that goes for ya , its a temporary fix for mine

Sounds like a possiblity. What is this freescan you are talking about? Is that a hand held scanner or something you can get for a laptop? Im very interested in being able to scan my own car. Also a buddy of mine has a 95 formula so we could split the cost. Thanks guys.
