yeh i intalled longtubes and my buddy put a spark plug in sideways just about and it was leaking so i took it out and the spark plug electrode was bent so i got another spark plug and put it in and it wont start at all just turn over and sputter like no spark or fuel, but it just threw a code so i am going to go get a code reader

* firing order
* ohms for each plug/coil wire (and inspect them)
* spark plug gap
* check all wire connections.
* check the O2 sensor wires
* check all injector wires
* if you removed the intake tubing, be sure to check that
the elbow/tube connections are mated properly and tight.
* check all vacuum lines.
If it ran fine before disconnecting things, and now it doesnt run fine,
then it's got to be something that was disconnected. Either that or it's
an incredible coincidence that something else went bad.

ok i do have spark at the spark plugs i tested them with a spark tester!!!! what do yall think it can be? my car is on jack stands in the front , so the front is sticking up and my gas gauge says it has little under 1/2 of tank of gas...so what do yall think it could be?

If your gauge it reading under half tank, you have closer to 1/4 tank ( Im sure you know about our gas tanks shape and fuel gauge inaccuracy etc) it could be its not getting to the pick up if you have the front end high enough. set her down on the ground and see what ya get. You can always jack it back up if that doesnt do anything for it. Have you checked for fuel pressure at the rail?

I burnt a plug wire within the first twenty minutes after my long tubes install. I thought I had routed everything the right way when I first installed them but I was wrong. I ended up burning 3 more wires over the course of the next week before I got it so that the wires would not move around at all and touch the primaries.
Pop open the hood at night and watch for a fire works show. If you don't see anything spray some water around the wires as it idles at night.
When it comes to wires, even a little crack in the insulation you may not even see can allow the voltage to arc out to ground. Under load the spark is more likely to jump out of the wire due to the fact that high cylinder pressures make it harder for the voltage to jump the spark gap, electricity will always take the easiest path to ground.
