My name is Paul, and I just moved here from the fbody.com message board because that place has become more of a social gathering for butt pirates than a place for useful information. This board seems to have many more knowledgable people. So, I've got a few questions.
1. The other day I was making a turn and when went to put on my right blinker, I had to push it up further than usual for it to stay since the wheel was turned some, but it went on. Now, when I put on my right turn signal, it goes on but does not blink. This includes the arrow in the dash. What most likely happened here?
2. I want to get a set of LT's.. from what I have read, Jet-Hots seem to be the best pick. What y-pipe should I get, or should I have a muffler shop make one?
Thanks

Welcome to the real team. I belonged to a couple other boards before this one, and their usually full of morrons that dont know anything and tell stories all day. In addititon the moderators on some of these other boards dont know how to moderate. Some of those boards are a joke.

my blinker did that once and i jsut had to change the bulbs, it would stay lit in the dash but no blinking or light on the outside of the car. usually its just a bulb in the front or reaer or both.

Thanks for the replies so far guys, but I failed to clarify something.. when I put my left turn signal on, the arrow in the dash goes on and stays on but does not blink, and the lights on the right hand side of the car get brighter and stay bright (no blinking). So I think this pretty much rules out the bulbs. Is there a fuse I should check? Maybe its something in the steering column?

Could be the flasher up under the dash on the driver's side (near the firewall) or the turn signal switch in the column. I'll bet it's the switch. You will need a wheel puller and a locking plate compressor. Both are easy to get and cheap at your local auto parts store. It's a pretty easy job to do.
