What's the valve lift specs and lobe profile on that cam?
I'm guessing the cam is a tad big for your displacement which will move the peak hp up to the stratosphere rpm wise. Had a very similar duration cam before, the M6 will help some for drivability.

It's a 232/240 cam, not overly huge at all.

I'm sure this is a classic mismatch of parts and overall setup. Compression, quench, valve train, etc, etc, etc. All that goes a long way in making the power you should.

They're working on installing new springs and retainers today. Hopefully everything is properly matched now and i hit my 400+. I'll keep you guys posted. Wish me luck and no explosions on the dyno.
