Angry Frustrated-need help

Alright guys, here's the problem: I'm pulling the motor out of my '94z28. I have everything disconnected that I know of, but the motor won't pull from the trans.(m6) more than one inch. The motor can swing freely every direction, but it just won't pull free. What am I forgetting? Does the trans. have to came out first or something?

You must release the clutch fork. You can search for details or maybe someone will jump in and say just how to do it. I have not done it myself so I don't want to tell you wrong.

You need to remove the slave cylinder from the bellhousing(2 nuts) then slide the adaptor off. The fork will be visible then. Grab the fork and pull twards the drivers door untill it releases about 2-1/2inches. The fork will not come all the way out but its all you need. Good luck.

Got it, thanks guys. As soon as the clutch fork was mentioned, it hit me that that was it. The motor was on the stand 10 minutes later. Thanks again.
