Remove injector harness clip from each injector by pushing in on the spring clip and pulling up on the connector. When you take them off, inspect each connector and insure that they are correctly marked with the cylinder number. They should be "factory" marked.

Release the rail fuel pressure by depressing the core on the Schrader valve. Hold a rag over the valve while you do this. While you are back there, remove the vacuum line from the pressure regulator.

Release the clamp that holds the two fuel "hardlines" to the bracket on the back corner/drivers side of the intake manifold. Unfortunately the screw head is facing down, but it can be done.

Remove the four bolts that hold the rails to the intake manifold. Treat these bolts gently.... they are long and thin. More than one person has managed to break one off in the manifold.... not good.

Once the four bolts are out, reach across the engine and grab the rail on the opposite side, and pull up.... all four injectors should pop out of the intake manifold. Go to the opposite side, and repeat, pulling the other 4 injectors out of the intake manifold. Make sure each injector still has the O-ring on the end. If it doesn't, get a "pick" and fish them out of the manifold.

Slide the spring clips along the rail, off the injector body. Then twist the injector back and forth to remove it from the rail. The residual fuel from othe rail will pour out... have a small, flat can to catch it in. Remove all 8 injectors, insuring that the O-ring has come out of the rail, on the top of each injector.

You should have a set of injectors with new O-rings. Wipe the O-ring sparingly with some WD40 or light oil. Insert the injector in the rail, twisting slightly to make sure the O-ring doesn't get cut or crimped. Slied the locking clip back over the injector body, in the groove provided (SVO's may not have the correct groove). After you have all 8 injectors in the rails, wipe the lower O-rings with lubricant, and get all 4 of them aligned with the manifold holes and push them into the intake. Repeat with the other side.

Put some anti-sieze on the bolt threads, just a "wipe", not a lot and put the 4 rail/manifold bolts back in. Be careful.... they break. Not sure of the torque.... unless you have an inch-pound torque wrench, you will be doing it by "feel". Tighten the clamp that holds the two hard lines. Attach the harness clips, making sure the connector is on the correct injector, and that the connector "seats" and the spring clip returns to its original position.

Replace the fuel pressure regulator vacuum line.
