fuel pressure probs

fuel pressure probs

ok i just checked and had 35psi of pressure, now at the strip i have lost almost a full second from my et. i had a bad o2 sensor replaced that and now this, we removed the vacume line from the regulator, and it went to 45psi, the pump is new as of last year,

im so pissed at my car

Im not to privey on times, but maybe you lost a sec in the temp, humidity, tire pressure was diffent, etc, etc.

Turn the key one click and listen for the pump to prime. Just let the car sit and see if the pressure drops drastically.

Your fuel pressure sounds fine. Need more details to help you out.

While the fuel pressure sounds "normal" at idle, just checking it at idle isn't going to show up filter or pump problems. You need to check the pressure at WOT/max load/max rpm, and insure it stays within 1 to 2psi of the "no vacuum" idle pressure.
