fuel pump

Let me see if I can put this in better words without steppin on anyones toes. i have recently bought a fuel pump but i dont think i got all the parts.m warlbro 255hp pump rebuild kit could someone let me know what all parts i should have got i think i was shorted parts . On pg 5 out of 10 of the racetronix installation. It shows a clear plastic tube and a black gasket going around the new pump. I ordered this part pump as a drop in with minor fabrication but it has proved otherwise. I just need some help on the parts and what is the best way to get in the walbro 255. IS there anyone else that has installed just the pump. and what did you do

thank you

Even if you could get all the parts Racetronix includes with its fuel pump assembly (which you can not) how are you going to machine the end of the pump and fit it with an o-ring so it seals PROPERLY in the bucket's pickup?

The GM 70 micron filter sock is not adequate protection for the Walbro gerotor pump.

You would be best at this point to scrap the bucket and mount the pump on the metal spine of your fuel module using the supplied Walbro filter sock.

Double check the connector pins and if they are melted or corroded cut them off and butt splice the Walbro connector to the factory wires with nylon (not vinyl) connectors.
