Fuel Pump Shutoff?

Fuel Pump Shutoff?
Hi all,
I just recently purchased a 1996 Camaro Z28, Automatic Transmission, with an LT1.
It doesn't run, and needs a little bit of engine work just due to neglect by its past owners.
I'm wondering where/how I can shut off the Fuel Pump. Every time I want to apply power to the car, the fuel pump pumps fuel (it's not hooked up as I'm replacing the fuel filter) and ends up spilling fuel everywhere
I'm tired of having to catch fuel in a tupperware container, anyone know how I can shut off the fuel pump?
I've looked in the fuse box under the hood, and the fuse block in the dash, didn't see anything.
What am I missing?
Thanks in advance.

Re: Fuel Pump Shutoff?
Well I want to see what works and what doesnt (as far as electrical) as I'll be ordering all new parts for what needs to be replaced.
My dad and I are working on this, and he has no idea either.
