Gas Pedal Stuck, Maybe Cable?

Gas Pedal Stuck, Maybe Cable?
I have strange problem and need some help on diagnosing the problem. First off I have ASR and cruise control.
When I accelerate from a stop light my pedal will stick, but when I quickly tap the pedal it returns to normal.
I have checked all the cables that run to the black box ( Maybe cruise control motor??) and there doesn't seem to be any binding there.
The only binding seems to be at the throttle body or the cable attached to the throttle body. When I lightly tap the gas pedal, the throttle body will not fully close. When romp on the pedal it closes fine. I have pushed on the t.b. linkage and cannot feel a click or anything that leads be to believe that the t.b. blades are sticking. This happens when the car is running and when not running.
Sorry for the confusion

Re: Gas Pedal Stuck, Maybe Cable?
I had the same freaking problem. I also have ASR. Not only is it annoying and embarrasing, it's downright dangerous.
The problem is the cable is binding where the it threads in and out of the outer cable, behind the throttle body linkage and around the ASR housing. I fixed mine by lubing the cable with some light oil wd-40.
Good luck
