gas smell

Exclamation gas smell

hey guys, sometimes when i come to a stop or pulling out of a driveway i can smell fresh gas and also my gas gauge seems to be going down quicker but ive never seen any liquid dripping...im quite confused and dont have much $ at the moment. if anyone could help that would be great, thanks.

no one can help me here??? i drained 1/2 a tank driving about 30 miles...im in high school and cant afford this..please can anyone give me some advice on where to start, it would be greatly appreciated

check your fuel filter, gas evaporates very quickly...other than that...i dunno what to tell ya man...anyone else...TTT

Pull the vac hose off the fuel regulator and see if it is wet or smells of gas. If it does replace the regulator, it has a hole in the diphragm. This will also cause the car to run rich.
