Gears???? help me guys

I have a 95 z28, with a A4 in it. at 60 mph i'm only turning about 1550rpms. Does anyone know what gears i have and how deep can i go without replacing the carrier???

I beleave you have 3.23s...I would go 3.73s with your A4.

i would say that at those low rpm's at 60
it sounds like you have a 2.73. with a series 2 carrier.

you can go as high as a 3.73 for a series 2 carrier, but i wouldn't go that high.

i went from a 2.73 to a 3.42 this a great street and highway gear.

Thanks i'm thinking about getting 3.43, I've been told you can't tell much difference between them and 3.73. What will i need to do this??? besides gaskets???
