I will tell one thing for sure ....it is the loudest and raspyest sounding thing I have ever heard. I have a freind that works at GMMG and he has it on his Vortec TA and you can here him coming a mile away

Yes ....he has LTs and no cat. I have LTs and no cat on my 383 ... it is no where near as loud and is not raspy through the hooker catback.

GMMMG flows alot better than hooker which is one of the reasons for the sound and raspyness b/c no cats...put the cat back on and ull c a world of difference

Here's some soundclips of my GMMG. This is with FLP's and cats.

http://z28.reanimator.org/gmmg_sounds/

Plus there's one of it idling after the cam.

It is very loud, but it's not raspy.

i havea lt1 w/ jet hot longtube headers, hooker cat-less y pipe, and borla,,
any my buddy has a ls1 with longtubes, cat-less y pipe, but has gmmg,

my car is WAY louder side by side comparison,,the gmmg has a very very nice tone to it, but if you want LOUD, its not the best in that catagory,,just from my experiance.

Loud or not its still loud enough stock or with a nice set of headers......still has the best sound and i consider it the best exhaust for the f-body car...IMO

sounded ok. but once i put the headers on, they sound beautiful at WOT!!
