GMPP 1.6RR questions

im lookin at gettin a set in about a week but ive gotten mixed reviews on whether or not to replace the springs too. im basically stock except for all the free mods and jet hot LTs. i have a 97 ss a4 with 65k should i replace the springs too for 1.6 RR's????

With the increased lift of 1.6 you'll be at the edge of coil bend with the stock springs. You're better of changing the stocker for at least LT4 springs or bigger springs if you're changing your cam down the line.

1. Definately change your springs. You don't wanna just skimp on springs that ARE a vital part to performance. The "Hot" springs are only like 35 for a set of 16...
2. Springs do wear after time, so why not, gain back any performance you may have lost due to weak springs.
