going in for my dyno tune wednesday....got some ??'s
have my car dyno tuned on wednesday at Cartek in Garwood, NJ. Anyway, other than a full tank of gas, what other odds and ends should i bring with me. I was thinkin of things like this:
- Couple chairs to sit and watch
- Video camera
- Extra TPS sensor(not sure why I feel i wanna bring this)
- Extra Spark Plugs
- List of Mods and specs
anything else im missing? Anything I should be paying particular attention to? I will post results when i get back. thanks

It would be there to help figure out if you're getting real knock or false knock. If you poor a bottle or two into the fuel and the knock goes away, then you're getting real knock. If it doesn't, then it's most likely fake.

sounds good to me. i love how that works, i ask a question, no one gets offended and everyones happy. anyway, last thing i forgot to ask was how far i should let them rev the car. The mail away tune should limit it to 6500, but i dont plan on revvin her that high (prob more like shifting at 6-6200). I know with my cam I am making power above that but I dont see a need in spinnin her that high for normal screwing around town use. Any suggestions on what I should tell the operator and how high I should have them rev it?

nah, let them tell YOU how high would be safe. I dont see why 6500 would hurt it once or twice for tuning purposes. that way you know the tune will be on all the way up the rpm band. if they dont go that high and/or tune for that high, what happens when you accidently go that high, or want to race? might be in trouble. I see your reasoning for not wanting to shift there all the time, but I wouldnt understand why not rev it when racing.
IMHO anyways
