Gonna kill my car!!!!!!!!
Help someone....
Installed hotcam kit, mac headers, new plugs/wires, !EGR, !AIR on a 94 LT1. My car has NO power. I thought it may be plugs and wires on wrong or somethin but double and triple checked it, not the problem...Next I chased wires all are connected...Then I unplug the MAF sensor and my car still runs the same way.
It is starting easily will idle fine but when under load or acceleration it doesnt wanna go, feels like I'm drivin a Honda. It is missing and I am at a loss...I feel helpless and I am so aggravated I'm gonna shoot my car. Also I can hear like a sucking sound kinda like there is a leak or somethin somewhere....if I miss a plug for the EGR and AIR would it completely rob the power like that? Someone anyone help me!!!!

the car will run good with the stock program(well you can get away with it). does it pull at all in the higher rpms? the EGR and airpump are only really used at idle, @ WOT they don't really play a factor. Did you install an EGR block off plate on the back of the intake?? but then again, if you didn't install that the car wouldn't hold idle, I have no idea, you make have a vacuum line not hooked up or something,

After getting it to start rolling it seems like it is going to start picking up power....not really had it that far to try because I dont wanna get out and break down with it running like this....Anyone and thanks for the reply rblackSS

We checked the valve lash...ok, cam timing-ok, i'm thinkin all air and egr is plugged off but whjat place are you talkin about on the intake tube? Thanks for the replied, help me get this thing runnin!

Sounds like what I did to my car. Hotcam does'nt start till about 1800 rpm's or so. Do you have a CAI? That explains the sucking noise. Get a tune. www.pcmforless.com. We were making a video for my club and without the tune did several 120+ mph passses without tune. Car dyno's 260 (stock manifolds) after tune, before exhaust. Will know more after F-body gathering and better tune.
