Yes, 987s will be overkill for just a rocker only upgrade. If you planned on swapping a cam down the road it may be different. I would just stick with those LT4 springs, as noted above, it is definitely a budget friendly spring set.

I completely agree, as always with 2000GTP. The LT4 springs are perfect for the RR upgrade. Just be honest with yourself about what you want your car to be in the end. It would suck to buy parts and then replace them cause they were not good enough. Shop smart, and make checks payable to godspeed1976

I bought #1418-16 off EBAY and will go w/the LT4 springs. I,m not sure if i,m going to buy the kit(inc ,locks, retainers.) Let me know what you decide.
